Subaru is a Japanese automaker headquartered in Shibuya, Japan and specialises in all-wheel drive vehicles powered by horizontally-opposed boxer engines.

The company sells several models in Australia, including the Impreza small car, Crosstrek small SUV, Outback crossover wagon and Forester mid-size SUV.

Other local nameplates include the WRX sports sedan, BRZ coupe, Solterra electric SUV, and upcoming electric models such as Trailseeker and Uncharted.
