Lamborghini
Based in Sant’Agata in Italy, Lamborghini is a manufacturer of high-end supercars and performance SUVs. The ‘Raging Bull’ is owned by luxury brand Audi and therefore falls under the Volkswagen Group umbrella.
The company is known for naming its models after Spanish fighting bulls, and its free-revving naturally-aspirated petrol engines – usually in V12 configuration.
Currently, Lamborghini sells the Huracan super sports car, the Aventador supercar and the Urus performance SUV.
While the Aventador uses a bespoke architecture, the Huracan shares its platform with the Audi R8 while the Urus rides on the same MLB Evo platform as various VW Group flagship SUVs like the Audi Q7 and Q8, Bentley Bentayga, Porsche Cayenne and Volkswagen Touareg.
