Lepas is a new design-led, electrified vehicle brand from Chery International, the global export division of Chery Automobile, one of China's largest automotive manufacturers. Established in 2025, the brand focuses on emerging markets, Europe, and Australasia, expanding Chery's portfolio alongside Omoda and Jaecoo. The name combines the words 'leap' and 'passion', and its vehicle designs are centred on a 'Leopard Aesthetics' philosophy. The brand's initial global lineup consists of premium plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery-electric (EV) SUVs, spearheaded by the flagship Lepas L8 mid-size SUV.
