Nissan is giving its entry-level Navara ute some attention with a couple of new option packages.

Various accessories are bundled into the new Style and Off-road packages, available only on the dual-cab 4×4 Navara in base SL guise.

The Style pack adds the following genuine accessories:

    • All-weather front and rear floor mats
    • ‘N-Trek’ alloy wheels

All prices are drive-away for ABN buyers.

The Off-road pack adds the following genuine accessories:

    • All-weather front and rear floor mats
    • ‘Solar’ alloy wheels

Pricing with the Off-road pack fitted is as follows:

    • 2022 Nissan Navara SL dual-cab 4×4 MT: $50,490
    • 2022 Nissan Navara SL dual-cab 4×4 AT: $51,990

All prices are drive-away for ABN buyers

Current drive-away pricing for ABN holders has the standard SL 4×4 dual-cab listed at $47,490 with the manual and $48,990 for the auto, which means the Style and Off-road packages carry premiums of $2000 and $3000, respectively.

The 4×4 SL is powered by a 2.3-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that produces 140kW of power and 450Nm of torque. This is mated to either a six-speed manual or seven-speed torque-converter automatic transmission.

Standard features on the SL trim includes the following:

    • 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
    • 7.0-inch digital trip computer with digital speedometer
    • Cruise control
    • Automatic headlights
    • Trailer sway control
    • Full-size spare steel wheel
    • Hill descent control and rear differential lock (4×4 models)

These new styling packages are in an attempt to make the Navara more alluring compared to its closest competitors, the Ford Ranger, Toyota HiLux, Mitsubishi Triton, Isuzu D-Max and Mazda BT-50.

Nissan has sold 7917 4×4 Navara models to the end of August 2021.

While that’s not class-leading, it still outsold the Volkswagen Amarok (5290), LDV T60 (4607) and GWM Ute (4589) over the same period.
