LDV is a sub-brand of the SAIC Motor group, based in Shanghai. Like Great Wall before it, LDV chose Australia as a test market ahead of its planned global expansion.

The T60 looks the part, and undercuts all of its competitors - even the bargain Mitsubishi Triton - on price, while it sports a large touchscreen and all the mod cons. While it lacks the latest active safety tech, it does have a five-star ANP crash rating.

It drive ok, though its turbo-diesel engines lack the oomph of its better-known competitors, and its cabin trims and quality feel below par. Shop on price.
