The new Volkswagen Passat is a medium-sized car offered in 5D Sedan, 4D Sedan and 5D Station Wagon body styles. Available in Australia from $36,790 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Base variant and topping out at $62,290 for the R-line.
There are 3 variants of the Passat available in Australia and this generation went on sale in January of 2019.
Engine options include 1.8L turbo petrol direct injection (132kW/250Nm) and 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (206kW/350Nm). Available with manual or 6-speed manual transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
