Volkswagen Australia has announced it’s upping the asking prices of some of its models and option packages from July 1.
The model lines affected by this upcoming price rise include the Volkswagen Polo, Golf, T-Roc R, Tiguan, Tiguan Allspace, Passat, and Arteon.
The lowest price rise is $240, which is for both the manual and automatic versions of the entry-level Polo Life. They will start from $25,990 before on-roads and $28,990 before on-roads, respectively.
The greatest price rise on the other hand is $2000, which is for the Golf R hatch and wagon. They will be priced from $68,990 before on-roads and $71,990 before on-roads, respectively.

All existing Volkswagen orders are price-protected at what their contract price was at the time of sale even if that vehicle hasn’t been delivered yet.
Also, if you choose to lock in a contract before June 30 you’ll also be price-protected from these changes.
Volkswagen Australia says that it’s still unable to accept orders on the Golf R, as well as certain Tiguan 132TSI, 147TDI, and 162TSI variants.
