The new Volkswagen Passat is a medium-sized car offered in both 5D Sedan and 4D Sedan body styles. Available in Australia from $35,490 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Base variant and topping out at $59,990 for the R-line.

Engine options include 1.8L turbo petrol direct injection (132kW/250Nm), 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (140kW/400Nm) and 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (206kW/350Nm). Available with manual or 6-speed manual transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
