2010 Volkswagen Passat
The new Volkswagen Passat is a medium-sized car offered in both 4D Sedan and 5D Sedan body styles. Available in Australia from $38,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Base variant and topping out at $67,990 for the R36.
There are 3 variants of the Passat available in Australia and this generation went on sale in June of 2009.
Engine options include 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (103kW/320Nm), 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (147kW/280Nm), 3.2L petrol direct injection (184kW/330Nm), 1.8L turbo petrol direct injection (118kW/250Nm) and 3.6L petrol direct injection (220kW/350Nm). Available with 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic or manual transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2010 Passat is offered with a 3 year, 100,000 km warranty.
