The new Volkswagen Passat is a medium-sized car offered in both 4D Sedan and 5D Sedan body styles. Available in Australia from $38,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Base variant and topping out at $59,240 for the Highline.
There are 2 variants of the Passat available in Australia and this generation went on sale in August of 2013.
Engine options include 3.6L petrol direct injection (220kW/350Nm), 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (130kW/380Nm) and 1.8L turbo petrol direct injection (118kW/250Nm). Available with 6-speed manual or manual transmissions. Both four-wheel drive and front-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2014 Passat is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
