Land Rover
Like Jaguar, Land Rover is fittingly part of the Jaguar Land Rover group owned by India’s Tata Motors, specialising in premium SUVs and off-roaders.
Early on, Land Rover was a manufacturer of rugged 4x4 vehicles primarily for military consumption, with its current models retaining a level of off-road ability with far more premium appointments and a greater focus towards on-road refinement.
The company currently sells the iconic Discovery and smaller Discover Sport, as well as the retro-inspired Defender – reviving the name of one of the company’s longest running and most capable models.
Land Rover also offers its more luxurious Range Rover sub-brand, including the Evoque, Velar, Sport and flagship ‘Range Rover’ SUVs.
