Engine options for the BMW 1 Series include 1.5 in-line 3-cylinder turbo (103kW/220Nm) and 2.0 in-line 4-cylinder turbo (225kW/450Nm). Available with 7-speed manual dual clutch sequential trans (dct), 7-speed automatic dual clutch sequential trans (dct) or 8-speed automatic with manual mode transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and 4x4 configurations are available.
