The new BMW 1 Series is a Small Luxury offered in a 5D Hatchback body style. Available in Australia from $39,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Sport Line variant and topping out at $59,990 for the Base.
There are 4 variants of the 1 Series available in Australia and this generation went on sale in July of 2017.
Engine options include 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (165kW/310Nm), 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (110kW/320Nm), 1.5L turbo petrol direct injection (100kW/220Nm) and 3.0L turbo petrol direct injection (250kW/500Nm). Available with 8-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmissions. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.
The new 2018 1 Series is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
