The new BMW 1 Series is a Small Luxury offered in 5D Hatchback, 2D Hatchback, 2D Coupe and 2D Convertible body styles. Available in Australia from $35,600 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Base variant and topping out at $91,300 for the M Sport Innovations Package.
There are 8 variants of the 1 Series available in Australia and this generation went on sale in March of 2009.
Engine options include 1.6L turbo petrol direct injection (100kW/220Nm), 2.0L petrol direct injection (115kW/200Nm), 3.0L petrol direct injection (160kW/270Nm), 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (150kW/400Nm), 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (160kW/310Nm) and 3.0L turbo petrol direct injection (235kW/450Nm). Available with 6-speed manual, 8-speed automatic, 6-speed automatic or manual transmissions. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.
The new 2013 1 Series is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
