There are 4 variants of the 1 Series available in Australia and this generation went on sale in late-2011.
The 2014 1 Series was offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
Engine options for the BMW 1 Series include 1.6 in-line 4-cylinder turbo (100kW/220Nm), 1.6 in-line 4-cylinder turbo (125kW/250Nm), 2.0 in-line 4-cylinder turbo (105kW/320Nm), 2.0 in-line 4-cylinder turbo (160kW/310Nm) and 3.0 in-line 6-cylinder turbo (235kW/450Nm). Available with 6-speed manual manual or 8-speed automatic with manual mode transmissions. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.
