    About the Mazda BT-50

Heath Russell purchased this Mazda BT-50 new with additional options for $56,990 (including all on-road costs). Heath Russell would buy this car again because: “The car was in stock and the dealer was keen to sell it to me, I had looked at other cars but dealers were not keen to haggle.”

How reliable has your car been? Tell us about any issues.

My car has been very reliable, only the drivers seat has a slight squeak sometimes, when I took the car in for a service they told me there is a bulletin and it’s a known issue however there was no fix yet.

What do you think of the ownership experience with your car?

So far it’s been great, the car is reliable and Mazda are always good to deal with.

How has the purchase and aftercare experience been with your car?

So far, so good. Mazda are a great company so I’m not worried.

Are you happy with the price and features of your car?

Yes I’m happy with the price I paid, we tried to buy other brands but the dealer experience was poor.

What do you think of the performance and economy of your car?

The power is adequate, I’d definitely like the car to have an extra 10kW and 50Nm, however the economy is excellent.

What do you think of the technology in your car?

Wireless Apple CarPlay is fantastic, I had to buy the wireless charger but at least there is an option for it. The safety tech is also excellent.

What do you think of the ride comfort and handling of your car?

Ride comfort is okay. This was expected and will be fixed when I get the suspension raised.
