Peugeot Partner recalled

Peugeot Australia has recalled 69 examples of its Partner van due to a fault that could affect braking performance.

The fault affects Partner Pro variants (both short- and long-wheelbase) built in 2023.

“Due to a software issue within the Engine Management Control (EMC) unit, the Hydraulic Brake Compensation (HBC) system may not operate as intended,” the carmaker said in its recall notice. 

“This could lead to reduced braking performance and a loss of braking assistance.

“​​A reduction in braking performance and/or a loss of safety systems could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”

If you own an affected Peugeot Partner, contact an authorised Peugeot dealership to arrange an appointment to have your van inspected and the necessary repair work performed, free of charge.
