Less than six weeks ago, we launched version 2.0 of our homepage and we’re now delighted to introduce our latest over-the-air update.

Version 2.1 of the homepage has been designed to make your life easier if you’re researching, buying and selling a car.

We’re set to launch a massive eight-figure spend marketing campaign late in October to build our brand and bring traffic to our homepage and in order to simplify the buying and selling process on CarExpert for everyday car buyers, we have made those our two most prominent starting points to the journey.

For car buyers who know what they’re after, a Make -> Model specific drop down becomes available and for those that don’t, they’re taken to our Car Chooser system.

The Sell my car tool is now also powered by our recently acquired brand PriceMyCar, which uses its own proprietary technology to get the best price for your used car from the most appropriate outlet. It’s a no-obligation service that gives sellers a good idea of what options are out there if they chose to sell.

These improvements come on the back of CarExpert winning Website Of The Year (second year in a row) and Brand Of The Year.

The Expert Mode remains available for frequent readers and enthusiasts.

Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, we have our CarExpert values.

Our latest update – the second to our website in less than six weeks – comes as we ready an onslaught of product launches that we expect to bring to market in rapid succession.

This aligns strongly with two of our values: fail fast, be nimble and stay hungry. Our whole value set is below:

We encourage collective accountability and personal responsibility. That means whatever your job title, if you see something that needs to be done, don’t wait for someone else to do it, just do it. It also means that if someone has stepped up to the plate and makes a mistake, we rally around to support them, not blame them. Welcome to CarExpert, please check your ego in at the door.

At CarExpert we aren’t afraid to innovate and we own our mistakes. By being alert to our failures, we can each make fast and informed decisions that continuously re-align with our objectives for success.

Our people are unashamedly themselves. We aren’t afraid to be honest, be independent, be compassionate, be yourself. Being real is at the heart of CarExpert and our people.

Don’t have a great time, don’t have a fun time, have a wheelie good time. We have amazing jobs that allow us to share a passion for connecting people with the right car. We don’t sweat the small stuff and know that a happy me infectiously creates a happy we.

Being hungry isn’t just about innovating and reinventing constantly, it’s about remembering that we are the underdogs here to take on the establishment and change the status quo. It’ll mean treading on toes, being brave and most importantly, aiming high and never forgetting where we came from.

Thank you for being part of the CarExpert journey. Now that the everyday consumer side of the CarExpert journey has been launched, we are going to focus our development time on bringing improvements for our frequent readers, with new features and designs set to launch soon.
