Xpeng's new factory-backed Australian importer has kicked off with the updated G6, a red-hot contender in the crowded mid-size electric SUV segment.

The G6 hasn’t been in Australian showrooms long and now Xpeng has updated it and added a high-output AWD version with a radical new battery.

So there's another new brand for Australia, and its first offering – the Xpeng G6 – shapes as a true contender for electric SUV buyers.
