My dashboardBefore the arrival of the all new model next year, for 2024 Volkswagen Australia is removing all diesel variants from its Tiguan line-up and adding more safety tech to Elegance and R-Line variants.
Also not returning for 2024 are the special Tiguan R Grid Edition and Monochrome models.
All models returning for 2024 receive price increases of between $1100 and $2600, which on some variants is partially offset by additional standard equipment.
For 2024, the current Tiguan Elegance and R-Line gain blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, which had been removed due to component shortages in 2022.
A power tailgate becomes standard for Elegance and R-Line models, previously a $600 option. Customers purchasing the Life can choose to option a power tailgate for $600.
