Every car and SUV discontinued in Australia in 2023

The Tesla Model X is a large electric SUV best known for its falcon-wing rear doors, strong performance and three-row seating availability. It is no longer on sale as a new model in Australia, leaving the smaller Model Y as Tesla's local SUV offering. The Model X combined long driving range, rapid acceleration and a tech-heavy cabin with family-friendly space, although its complex doors and premium pricing made it a niche choice. It appealed to buyers wanting a high-performance electric family vehicle before many traditional luxury brands had direct rivals. While newer electric SUVs have narrowed the gap, the Model X remains one of Tesla's most distinctive and ambitious models.
