About the Subaru Outback
The new Subaru Outback is a large SUV offered in a 5D Station Wagon body style. Available in Australia from $37,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Base variant and topping out at $55,990 for the R Premium.
There are 4 variants of the Outback available in Australia and this generation went on sale in August of 2007.
Engine options include 2.5L multi-point injection (123kW/229Nm), 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (110kW/350Nm) and 3.6L multi-point injection (191kW/350Nm). Available with 5-speed manual, variable sp automatic, 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmissions. All variants feature four-wheel drive.
