The 2025 Outback had its clearest appeal where ride comfort, long-distance ability and Subaru all-wheel drive outweighed novelty. That year, the public sales record shows 8,384 Australian deliveries. That made it relevant to shoppers wanting a sensible, easy-to-understand vehicle for commuting, family use or weekend errands. The showroom context is simple: the Subaru Outback is a high-riding wagon that blends SUV practicality with passenger-car comfort. Buyers would also have looked at Toyota RAV4, Mazda CX-5 and larger family SUVs.

It's a very versatile wagon, has enough room for my music gear and doing road trips, etc., it's even towed my little bogged tractor/slasher out of the paddock, very handy. It's my third Subaru and will probably stay…

No Has your vehicle been serviced at least once since you took ownership? No Overall, are you satisfied with your ownership experience so far? Yes Really pleased with the car.
