Mild-hybrid versions of the Skoda Octavia and Kodiaq will arrive in Australia next year, as the automaker continues to electrify its lineup.

2014 Skoda Octavia
The new Skoda Octavia is a medium-sized car offered in a 5D Hatchback body style. Available in Australia from $21,690 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Ambition variant and topping out at $41,140 for the RS.
There are 4 variants of the Octavia available in Australia and this generation went on sale in October of 2007.
Engine options include 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (110kW/320Nm), 1.8L turbo petrol direct injection (132kW/250Nm), 1.4L turbo petrol direct injection (103kW/250Nm) and 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (162kW/350Nm). Available with 6-speed manual or manual transmissions. All variants feature front-wheel drive.
The new 2014 Octavia is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
