Mild-hybrid versions of the Skoda Octavia and Kodiaq will arrive in Australia next year, as the automaker continues to electrify its lineup.

2013 Skoda Octavia
The new Skoda Octavia is a medium-sized car offered in a 5D Hatchback body style. Available in Australia from $24,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Base variant and topping out at $44,290 for the RS.
There are 3 variants of the Octavia available in Australia and this generation went on sale in October of 2007.
Engine options include 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (103kW/320Nm), 1.8L turbo petrol direct injection (118kW/250Nm), 1.6L turbo diesel common rail (77kW/250Nm), 1.4L turbo petrol direct injection (90kW/200Nm) and 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (147kW/280Nm). Available with 6-speed manual, 5-speed manual or manual transmissions. All variants feature front-wheel drive.
The new 2013 Octavia is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
