2008 Skoda Octavia
The new Skoda Octavia is a medium-sized car offered in both 5D Hatchback and 5D Station Wagon body styles. Available in Australia from $29,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Ambiente variant and topping out at $43,790 for the RS.

Engine options include 2L turbo petrol direct injection (147kW/280Nm), 2L turbo pump injection (125kW/350Nm), 2L petrol direct injection (110kW/200Nm), 1.8L turbo petrol direct injection (118kW/250Nm) and 1.9L turbo pump injection (77kW/250Nm). Available with 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2008 Octavia is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
