Mild-hybrid versions of the Skoda Octavia and Kodiaq will arrive in Australia next year, as the automaker continues to electrify its lineup.

2017 Skoda Octavia
The new Skoda Octavia is a medium-sized car offered in both 5D Hatchback and 5D Station Wagon body styles. Available in Australia from $22,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Ambition variant and topping out at $43,190 for the RS 230.
There are 6 variants of the Octavia available in Australia and this generation went on sale in June of 2016.
Engine options include 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (162kW/350Nm), 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (135kW/380Nm), 1.4L turbo petrol direct injection (110kW/250Nm) and 1.8L turbo petrol direct injection (132kW/280Nm). Available with 6-speed manual or manual transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2017 Octavia is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
