Renault Australia has recalled 409 Trafic vans over concerns about a problem with the steering wheel.

According to Renault, the steering wheel hub could crack or break when “excessive load” is applied.

The driver could lose control of the car if the problem occurs, putting occupants, other road users, and bystanders at risk.

    • A total of 409 cars are included in the recall
    • The VIN list of affected vehicles is attached here
    • The original recall notice is attached here

Renault Australia will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to organise a free fix with their nearest dealer.
