Has your vehicle been serviced at least once since you took ownership?

    Yes

I had the initial or complimentary first service at the dealership, Nova Ford. The service staff were friendly and cooperative. It took about an hour and a half, so I waited while it was completed. The vehicle has only completed 3800km and I have not had any issues so far.

Overall, are you satisfied with your ownership experience so far?

    Yes

I have wanted to own a Ford Everest since it was released in 2015. So I have gone from being an old man calling out to Everest owners at intersections – "You are driving my car!" – to owning and driving one myself. In short, it is a dream come true.

This reader’s experience with the 2025 Ford Everest UB

The car certainly is very techy, however it has just been a matter of getting used to the process within the tech. In other words, it follows a sequence and you need to be patient, as it is completely for the safety of you and your passengers. The Everest is smooth and quiet. In fact y,ou have to watch your speed, as such setting the cruise control as often as possible is advised.

I previously owned a 2007 Ford Territory and it was fantastic on the highway – so comfortable for long driving. I didn't think it was possible for the Everest to be better, but it is – very comfortable, both in seating and creature comforts, like the climate control.
I have to drive the highway every time I leave home, so I keep the car full, and I am getting 7.7 litres of fuel used for every 100km driven! Wow, that is better than a lot of smaller SUVs.

The fact that Ford is listening to its customers is great, and this is evidenced by the 10-speed automatic transmission, which has a dipstick.
This definitely seals the deal for me. I am sold in every sense of the word.
