About the Hyundai i30

Chanakya Shirin purchased this Hyundai i30 new for $39,000 (including all on-road costs). Chanakya Shirin would buy this car again because: “I’d buy the car again, given its futuristic styling, extremely smart technology that runs throughout the car starting from the engine till the boot.

Safety features include TCS, ABS, lane keeping assistant, BSE amongst a few others.

Believe it or not this is not an off-roading car but oh my god! If found in a tough spot on the mountains of NSW this beast will roar and soar.”

How reliable has your car been? Tell us about any issues.

Extremely reliable and it has amazing fuel efficiency for an aggressive little sedan.

What do you think of the ownership experience with your car?

It has been amazing thus far, in all honesty it really depends on how you take care of your car. Respect the machine, the machine respects you.

How has the purchase and aftercare experience been with your car?

The after sales experience has been okay. Hyundai Ryde need to care a tad bit more about their customers but that’s all good they’ve been okay.

Are you happy with the price and features of your car?

Straight off the bat, the car could’ve done with a sunroof for the N-Line version as well instead of only providing it in the N-Line Premium version. For $39k, the price tag including a sunroof isn’t much work.

Small bits and pieces from the interior could’ve used a little more sophistication.

This car is a must have for any youngsters out there trying to get the feel of a sports car for beginners.

What do you think of the performance and economy of your car?

One word. AMAZING.

What do you think of the technology in your car?

Hyundai really gave it their all when it comes to technology. I wouldn’t know where to start, from the quick shifts of the DCT to the technology that supports the car from within. It has surpassed most cars I’ve seen on the roads. It’s got no massage seats but it will keep you safe when you’re on the road. It won’t let you crash and will keep you checked at all times.

What do you think of the ride comfort and handling of your car?

The suspension definitely is top notch as I’ve mentioned above, unforeseen terrain such as rocky roads and gravel roads were no match for the little beast but make no mistake this car is not made for such adventures.

It’s a beautiful city car that can do well on the track. Super comfortable and grips as tight as a gorilla on corners no matter the wetness of the terrain.

Do you have any additional comments about your car?

It’s a beautiful beast, it’s quick, it’s fast, it’s got the roar in its exhaust and it will keep you driving with a big smile on your face and wallet.

Happy driving 🙂
