No.

Yes. This is the best Pajero and a great shame manual Pajero 3.2-litre 4WDs have been discontinued.

Very economical, regularly 8L/100km, tolerates coasting, no mechanical issues with nearly 200,000km done.

Great for tall drivers. The new model Pajero Sport isn't a patch on this wonderful car.

A regular service every 10,000km following the service recommendations, Bridgestone Dueler tyres.
But tyre changing those heavy wheels needs the NRMA to do it. My previous Pajero 4x4 2.8L had much lighter steel wheels.

Overall, are you satisfied with your ownership experience so far?

Yes. Minimal wear and tear of seats, a CD player and decent radio, great speaker set up, very satisfactory driving position, clever sunvisors, original headights.

I’ll never buy another Mitsubishi now, their current vehicles are just 'cars'.

We were truly spoiled with our Pajero.

I have mentioned the pros and cons.

Look for the Platinum version; later GLX auto versions miss out on the CD.

The original low position of the spare wheel can be raised with a Mitsubishi fitting that allows the rear door to open without bashing the hitch of an attached trailer. However, fitting a straight long towhitch alleviates this problem.

I have been a Mitsubishi fan since 1980, but no more! We tried the Pajero Sport: absolutely no comparison!

I do a lot of country driving over rural dirt roads for my daily commute, a big kangaroo convinced me to fit an ARB roo bar, it has saved me dumping my car, as its comprehensive insurance value is less than $15k.
