Mitsubishi Motors is a Japanese manufacturer based in Tokyo, and forms part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance.
The carmaker also comes under the Mitsubishi Group, parent of multiple Mitsubishi-branded companies which produce everything from air-conditioners and building supplies, to heavy trucks and ships.
Long-serving nameplates in Australia include the now-retired Lancer, Magna, and the soon-to-be retired Pajero 4x4, with the company now focusing on crossovers and utilities, including the top-selling ASX, the Eclipse Cross and Outlander, as well as the Pajero Sport off-roader and related Triton dual-cab ute.
