Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Australia will recall 95 Range Rover Sport SUVs over a structural issue which could pose a danger in the event of a collision.

“Due to a manufacturing issue, cracks may be present in the rear subframe. The cracks may worsen over time and weaken the vehicle's structure,” the official recall notice said.

“In the event of a rear-end collision, reduced structural strength can increase the risk of serious injury, or death to vehicle occupants.”

    • A total of 95 vehicles are affected, produced between 2023 and 2026
    • Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) can be found here and here
    • The original recall notice is attached here

“Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Jaguar Land Rover to organise an inspection of their vehicle. If cracks are found, repairs will be completed free of charge," the company says in its recall notice.

It’s the first recall for the current-generation Range Rover Sport in Australia, which was introduced here in 2022 as a 2023 model year vehicle.

Owners affected by the latest recall can contact Jaguar Land Rover on 1800 625 642 between 8:00am and 8:00pm on weekdays, and between 9:00am and 4:00pm on Saturdays.

They can also email crcau@jaguarlandrover.com or use the company’s website contact form.
