Popular Australian maker of reusable coffee cups and water bottles Frank Green has finally engineered a solution for its bulky products that don’t fit into car cupholders.
Creatively called the car cup holder expander, the $19.95 accessory has been specifically designed for the company’s 34oz/1L reusable bottle, and is made from silicone.
It’s also available in six colours – blush, mint, pink, black, white and orange.

This release comes after a fun social media trend where owners of Frank Green’s “emotional support water bottles” got creative to find ways to stow their bottles while driving, as they’re often too big for regular cup holders or door bins.
In some cases, people were going to Bunnings Warehouse and purchasing funnel-shaped pipe connectors. Think of this as a genuine OEM accessory as opposed to a cheap aftermarket job.
Is this new silicone bottle holder the answer to your in-car prayers? Let us know in the comments!
