The Renault Kangoo, Trafic and Master van range now come with a five-year or 200,000km warranty (whichever comes first), up from the previous three-year coverage term.
The French company’s commercial vehicles also get five capped-price services and free roadside assist over that period.
“This is a direct response to the overwhelming customer feedback about the five-year warranty promotional offer we began in July as part of our plan to offer the best possible coverage,” said Renault Australia aftersales and quality director, Matthew Wright.
“We’ve worked to improve transparency by including nearly all items previously added to the published schedule such as air and pollen filters, coolant and brake fluid replacement and accessory drive belts as standard,” he added.
Servicing intervals listed below are either annual or a set distance, whichever comes first. The costings look like this:

Kangoo 1.2 petrol
Kangoo 1.5 diesel

Trafic 85kW and 103kW 1.6 diesels
Trafic 125kW 2.0 diesel

Master 2.3 diesel
Renault’s van range is vital to its Australian division. Of the brand’s 3180 sales this year to date, 1966 have been either a Kangoo (299), Trafic (923) or Master (744).
The upgraded LCV warranty matches the cover on Renault’s regular passenger and SUV range, but not the unlimited kilometre allowance.
