Audi Australia is recalling 29 examples of the A4, A5, TT, Q3, Q7 and Q8 to fix an issue that may cause the front seat frame to fracture.

This recall affects Audi A4, A5, TT, Q3, Q7 and Q8 models produced during 2023.

“Due to a manufacturing defect, the outer backrest frame of the front seats may have been incorrectly welded,” said the company in its recall notice.

“As a result, the seat frame could fracture.”

If you own an affected vehicle you’ll be contacted by Audi Australia in writing and asked to schedule in a time with your nearest Audi dealer to have the rectification work carried out, free of charge.

If you have any further questions you can contact Audi Australia on 1800 502 834.
