The Audi A5 is the brand's new-generation medium car family, taking over the role previously held by the A4 while bringing a more modern design, cabin and drivetrain package. In Australia, the A5 range includes turbocharged petrol power and mild-hybrid technology, with quattro all-wheel drive available on higher-output versions. It is covered by Audi's five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty. The A5 is designed to sit between traditional sedans and more style-led fastbacks, giving Audi a cleaner, more contemporary rival to premium mid-size models from Germany and Japan. Its appeal is balance: sharper presentation than the old A4, familiar Audi refinement, improved technology and enough performance breadth to support both comfort-focused and sportier variants.
