Ateco Automotive is recalling almost 12,000 examples of the LDV Deliver 9 as they pose a fire risk.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the low-pressure fuel delivery line may not meet specifications. “As a result, it may deteriorate allowing fuel to leak,” the company says in its recall notice.
“A fuel leak in the presence of an external ignition source could result in a vehicle fire.
“A vehicle fire could cause injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users or bystanders and/or damage to property.”
