Kia is offering $5000 off the price tags of diesel-powered Sportage and Sorento SUVs, as well as even greater discounts on the Tasman ute.
On the Sportage and Sorento, the offer is available on any eligible in-stock new or demonstrator vehicles purchased and delivered between November 1 and November 30, 2026. It’s available across all diesel-powered variants of the two SUVs.
The offer is available only to private and business customers, and excludes fleet, government or rental buyers. It also can’t be had in conjunction with any other offer.
The cashback is redeemable at the time of purchase as a reduction in the vehicle’s purchase price.

The Sportage and Sorento are among the last crossover SUVs from mainstream brands still offered with diesel power in Australia.
There are also deals to be had on the slow-selling Tasman ute, available on vehicles with 2025 build dates purchased and delivered during November.
Cab/chassis variants are being offered with discounts for Australian Business Number (ABN) holders, with the S 4x4 single-cab/chassis – wearing a list price of $48,959 before on-road costs, and previously offered for $49,171 drive-away in NSW – priced at $38,990 drive-away.
The biggest reduction from previously advertised drive-away pricing can be found on the SX 4x4 dual-cab/chassis, which is being offered for $12,385 less than before at $43,990 drive-away.

Dual-cab ute variants are being offered with separate drive-away deals, available to private and business buyers.
The S 4x4 dual-cab ute is priced at $46,990 drive-away against a list price of $49,990 before on-road costs, while the SX 4x4 dual-cab ute drops from $54,490 plus on-roads to $44,990 drive-away – undercutting even the base S, according to pricing information supplied by Kia.
Finally, the SX+ dual-cab ute is being offered for $49,990 drive-away, compared with a list price of $62,390 before on-roads.
These deals follow reductions of between $6500 and $13,000 across the range of dual-cab ute variants earlier this year.

Diesel-powered vehicles were back on top in Australian new-vehicle sales in October, despite many utes experiencing year-over-year sales drops.
That included the Tasman, with 4x2 variants sliding 47.5 per cent YoY to 21 units and 4x4 variants dropping 51.8 per cent to 275 units.
With 296 deliveries in October, the Tasman was outsold by the LDV T60 (500), but it finished ahead of the Nissan Navara (288) and Volkswagen Amarok (224). Year-to-date, it’s sitting at 3998, putting it ahead of the LDV, Nissan and Volkswagen.
