    How Much Should I Pay?

At the end of the day, the price you pay at the dealership will be dependent on a number of factors such as when you want to buy (is the dealership chasing sales?), the age of the model you’re purchasing (is a new generation model being launched soon) and of course your strength as a negotiator.

    Engine

The 2020 Mazda CX-5 Maxx and Maxx Sport are available with a 2.0litre fourcylinder engine with 115kW and 220Nm. It can be paired with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic.

A 2.5-litre four-cylinder with 140kW and 252Nm with a six-speed automatic is an option on the Maxx and Maxx Sport, and standard on the Touring, GT and Akera.

The 170kW/420Nm 2.5-litre turbocharged fourcylinder petrol engine is an option on the highly-specified GT and Akera grades.

All trim lines except the base CX-5 Maxx can be fitted with a 140kW/450Nm 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel.

CX-5 models fitted with the 2.0-litre petrol engine are front-wheel drive as standard, all other variants are all-wheel drive.
