Renault Australia has recalled the 2018-19 Master van to fix a fire risk.

“The fuel hose may come into contact with the engine. This may lead to fuel hose wear and a fuel leak,” Renault Australia says in its recall notice.

“If a fuel leak occurs, this may cause an engine fire, which could result in injury or death to vehicle occupants and bystanders and/or damage to property.”

  • A total of 266 cars are included in the recall
  • Affected cars were sold between January 2, 2018 and December 31, 2019
  • A VIN list of affected vehicles is attached here
  • The original recall notice is attached here

Renault Australia will contact owners to organise a free fix with their nearest dealer.
