2012 BMW 5 Series
The new BMW 5 Series is a Large Luxury offered in both 4D Sedan and 5D Sedan body styles. Available in Australia from $77,900 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Base variant and topping out at $184,800 for the M Sport.
There are 2 variants of the 5 Series available in Australia and this generation went on sale in March of 2009.
Engine options include 3.0L turbo petrol direct injection (225kW/400Nm), 4.4L turbo petrol direct injection (300kW/600Nm), 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (180kW/350Nm), 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (135kW/380Nm) and 3.0L turbo diesel common rail (230kW/630Nm). All variants feature 8-speed automatic transmission. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.
The new 2012 5 Series is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
