    The new BMW 5 Series is a Large Luxury offered in both 5D Sedan and 4D Sedan body styles. Available in Australia from $83,300 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Base variant and topping out at $184,800 for the M Sport.

    There are 2 variants of the 5 Series available in Australia.

    Engine options include 3.0L turbo petrol direct injection (225kW/400Nm), 2.0L turbo diesel common rail (135kW/380Nm), 3.0L multi-point injection (190kW/310Nm), 3.0L turbo diesel common rail (220kW/600Nm) and 4.4L turbo petrol direct injection (300kW/600Nm). All variants feature 8-speed automatic transmission. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.

    The new 2011 5 Series is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
