    The new BMW 5 Series is a Large Luxury offered in both 4D Sedan and 5D Sedan body styles. Available in Australia from $92,900 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Base variant and topping out at $163,200 for the Base.

    Engine options include 3L multi-point injection (190kW/300Nm), 4.8L multi-point injection (270kW/490Nm), 2.5L multi-point injection (160kW/250Nm), 3L turbo diesel common rail (160kW/480Nm) and 4L multi-point injection (225kW/390Nm). All variants feature 6-speed automatic transmission. All variants feature rear-wheel drive.

    The new 2006 5 Series is offered with a 2 year, unlimited km warranty.
