Audi e-tron

The Audi e-tron was Audi’s original large electric luxury SUV in Australia, and is now discontinued as a new-car offering. It introduced a familiar premium-SUV take on electric motoring, with a spacious five-door body, quiet dual-motor performance and all-wheel-drive traction suited to family use, commuting and relaxed country touring. Its cabin focused on comfort, refinement and a conventional Audi feel, making it an approachable EV for buyers moving out of petrol or diesel luxury SUVs. Today, the e-tron is mainly relevant as a used premium electric SUV, with later Audi EVs such as the Q6 e-tron and related newer models bringing fresher technology, updated equipment and sharper market positioning. For Australian shoppers, it remains best suited to those prioritising space, understated design and serene electric performance over having the latest EV hardware.
