Audi’s all-electric e-tron SUV has been recalled to fix a problem with the anti-lock brakes and electronic stability control.

“Due to a manufacturing issue with a braking component the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Electronic Stabilisation Control (ESC) function may fail under hard braking,” the recall notice says.

“In the event of an accident or hard braking, a loss of vehicle stability systems will increase the risk of an injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”

    • A total of six vehicles are included in the recall
    • A VIN list of affected vehicles is attached here
    • The original recall notice is attached here

Owners will be contacted and advised to organise a free fix with their nearest dealer.
