Volkswagen Golf Comparison
The new Volkswagen Golf is a Small Luxury offered in both 5D Hatchback and 5D Station Wagon body styles. Available in Australia from $24,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Trendline variant and topping out at $57,990 for the R.
There are 9 variants of the Golf available in Australia and this generation went on sale in July of 2020.
Engine options include 1.4L turbo petrol direct injection (110kW/250Nm), 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (213kW/380Nm), 1.8L turbo petrol direct injection (132kW/280Nm) and 2.0L turbo petrol direct injection (213kW/350Nm). Available with 7-speed automatic, manual, 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2020 Golf is offered with a 5 year, unlimited km warranty.
