The new MG HS is a medium SUV available in Australia from $29,990 (driveaway) for the Vibe variant and topping out at $58,807 for the Essence variant.
There are 7 variants of the HS available in Australia and this generation went on sale in late-2024.
The new 2019 HS is offered with a 7 year, unlimited km warranty.
Engine options for the MG HS include 1.5L in-line 4-cylinder turbo (125kW/275Nm), 1.5L in-line 4-cylinder turbo hybrid (165kW/340Nm), 1.5L in-line 4-cylinder turbo hybrid (220kW/350Nm), 1.5L in-line 4-cylinder turbo (119kW/250Nm), 1.5L in-line 4-cylinder turbo hybrid (189kW/370Nm), 1.5L in-line 4-cylinder turbo hybrid (209kW/480Nm) and 2.0L in-line 4-cylinder turbo (168kW/360Nm). Non-electric variants are available with 7-speed automatic dual clutch sequential trans (dct), 2-speed automatic, automatic, 10-speed automatic with manual mode, 6-speed automatic dual clutch sequential trans (dct) or 7-speed manual dual clutch sequential trans (dct) transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and 4x4 configurations are available.
