The new Ford Transit is a Van Over 3.5t offered in None Panel Van, Single Cab Chassis, Single bus and Single Panel Van body styles. Available in Australia from $33,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Base variant and topping out at $51,990 for the Base.
There is 1 variant of the Transit available in Australia and this generation went on sale in March of 2008.
Engine options include 2.4L turbo diesel common rail (103kW/375Nm) and 2.2L turbo diesel common rail (81kW/285Nm). Available with 6-speed manual or 5-speed manual transmissions. Both rear-wheel drive and front-wheel drive configurations are available.
