Ford Tourneo Comparison

The Ford Tourneo is Ford’s van-based people mover, designed for families, shuttle users and businesses that need more space and easier access than a typical three-row SUV can offer. Based on the Transit Custom platform, it combines a tall cabin, sliding side doors and flexible passenger accommodation with a more comfort-focused fit-out than a work van. In Australia, the diesel Tourneo is set to be discontinued and replaced by a plug-in hybrid version as part of an update due between April and June 2027. The incoming PHEV will use the Transit Custom PHEV powertrain and is expected to offer up to 51km of electric driving range on the WLTP cycle, suiting urban school runs, airport work and short daily trips while retaining long-distance flexibility.
